War is a Racket, but there is a way out.

Two-Time Congressional Medal of Honor Recipient Major General Smedley D. Butler (USMC) famously said "War is a Racket."

"Blessed are the poor in spirit,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Blessed are those who mourn,
for they will be comforted.
Blessed are the meek,
for they will inherit the earth.
Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness,
for they will be filled.
Blessed are the merciful,
for they will be shown mercy.
Blessed are the pure in heart,
for they will see God.
Blessed are the peacemakers,
for they will be called sons of God.
Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven."

We have allowed the bad guys of the world to make us afraid so that they can sell us security. We give up our spirit, or free will, our lives for protection from terrors they create and inflate. Our insecurities make the world a much worse place then it could be.

I am convinced that the only path for a sustainable peaceful society is a movement to self-sustaining communities. The MAD (Mutually Assured Destruction) paradigm of the past needs to change. History has replayed itself again with China. The idea was to create so much economic interdependence that a war would destroy both economies. Chinese worker need American buyers, and American buyers need cheap shit. We give them money for cheap goods, then they give us back the money for cheap IOUs (Treasures). Now a handful of unelected uber-elite have their finger on the red button of the food, shelter, water, livelihood of our two civilizations. Why would anyone ever want to push that button? Who would want to create a new civilization? Who would want to bring down ours?

Our empire was created out of consumerism because in a market/capitalistic society corporate interests hold most sway in government. We fight wars for corporations so that they can get rich off of making war. We operate child/slave/generally inhumane sweat shops in all corners of the world so that we can buy new cloths for each season. We conceal all the knowledge manifested by mankind so that copyright/patent holding corporations/elite shareholders can maintain their status.

We now know that it is in everyone's best interest to have a more free society. The good of each of us benefits the good of all of us. A more free society is NOT a more governed society, the society with the ability to use the most force, or a society that forces beliefs on anyone. A free society does not require wage slaves because a sustainable lifestyle is supported and developed by independent groups of individuals. If you really need a corrupt system to survive then you are a slave of that system. The way out is to conquer our insecurities. We need to create freedom from these insecurities in order to create a free society. Government/corporate bureaucracies, by their very nature fear any form of change. This is why they always act to suppress freedom. We can no longer trust the future of mankind to the system that functions only to maintain established power structures.

Our spirit speaks to us through our intuition. Whenever you choose to ignore this inclination, you choose to deny your spirit a chance to grow. Whenever you deny you conscious, you deny a greater purpose. Our society has created many blights on our collective consciousness.

Turn on, Tune in, Drop Out.

"'Turn on' meant go within to activate your neural and genetic equipment. Become sensitive to the many and various levels of consciousness and the specific triggers that engage them. Drugs were one way to accomplish this end. 'Tune in' meant interact harmoniously with the world around you—externalize, materialize, express your new internal perspectives. Drop out suggested an elective, selective, graceful process of detachment from involuntary or unconscious commitments. 'Drop Out' meant self-reliance, a discovery of one's singularity, a commitment to mobility, choice, and change. Unhappily my explanations of this sequence of personal development were often misinterpreted to mean 'Get stoned and abandon all constructive activity.'"~Timothy Leary

Timothy Leary was right, but he was destroyed by his followers.

"All authority of any kind, especially in the field of thought and understanding, is the most destructive, evil thing. Leaders destroy the followers and followers destroy the leaders. You have to be your own teacher and your own disciple. You have to question everything that man has accepted as valuable, as necessary."~Jiddu Krishnamurti

The Red Pill not only let me down the rabbit hole, it made me acutely self-conscious of my role in all the evils of the world and the need to pay a penance. I must do my part to share and spread the ideals, and practices of freedom. I must work establish the technologies of free communities. I must be a conscious creator of something better. I must find a better way of living in order to create the foundations for a better future for my children. Our website is a map to this new life. I hope that it becomes a useful aggregation of ideas and knowledge to create a self-sustaining culture that values the human spirit over the spirit of greed and fear.
